Momento Announces New 4K Dash Cam
Firstech, LLC., makers of Momento, is pleased to introduce its newest dash camera, Momento M8. Momento M8 will be available in three models: M8, M8 Pro, and M8 Max. The three models will range in video resolution from 1080p to 4K.
Momento M8 Max 4K Dash Cam
Momento M8 Max will feature a 4K Sony IMX image sensor, making it the brand’s first-ever dash camera capable of recording in Ultra HD 2160p. The camera will ship with a pre-installed 64GB micro-SD card, which can be upgraded up to a 256GB micro-SD card for more storage.
Sleekest Dash Cam on the Road
All three Momento M8 models will feature the same slim form factor. Measuring at about an inch thickness, the Momento M8 mounts flat against the vehicle’s windshield and up against the headliner. This allows for discreet cable management and a clear view of the road. M8 dash cameras also include rear cameras for extra protection.
Battery-Saving Technology
In addition to recording driving activity, Momento M8 dash cameras provide a parking mode that monitors activity while the engine is off. M8 will also feature the company’s popular battery-saving technology, “ECO” mode, which utilizes radar to detect motion in front of the vehicle. “ECO” mode reduces battery consumption by up to 90%, ensuring that dash cam can operate without draining the vehicle’s battery.
Drive Protected with Momento
Dash cameras like Momento have become an essential car accessory for drivers concerned about vehicle fraud. In recent years, viral videos have emerged of people attempting to defraud innocent drivers on the road. In these troubling situations, video evidence recorded on a dash camera can be crucial in proving who is at fault.
In order to make these video recordings easily accessible, Momento M8 has dual-band 2GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi so that it can pair with the Momento Dash Cam Viewer app for iPhone and Android. The smartphone app gives users the ability to quickly view, download, and share videos recorded on their Momento dash cam.
Momento M8’s MSRP will range from $199.99 for the M8 (1080p, front only) to $399.99 for the M8 Max (4K, front and rear). The Momento M8 will start shipping from Firstech and authorized Firstech distributors by December 2024.
